The Beginning
Started out in my dad's garage, just me and a beat-up BMW E30 that wouldn't idle right. Spent three months figuring out the Motronic system - no fancy scan tools back then, just a multimeter and stubbornness. That car taught me more than any textbook ever could.
Going Pro
Worked at three different shops around Vancouver. Learned what NOT to do mostly - rushed diagnostics, cutting corners, treating customer cars like numbers on a board. Knew there had to be a better way to handle these complex machines.
European Obsession
Got my hands on a Porsche 996 with IMS bearing issues. That project changed everything. Flew to Germany for specialized training, spent way too much money on factory diagnostic equipment. My girlfriend at the time thought I'd lost it - she wasn't wrong, but it paid off.
Aetherion Spirex Opens
Found this spot on Barnet Highway - wasn't pretty but had good bones. Spent six months building it out exactly how I wanted. Every lift, every diagnostic station, every tool placement thought through. Opened right before the world went sideways, but European car owners still needed someone who actually cared.
Team Growth
Brought on Marcus and Sofia - two techs who actually get it. Marcus has a sixth sense for electrical gremlins, and Sofia can diagnose transmission issues just by the sound. We're not trying to be the biggest shop, just the one you'd trust with your own car.

We've worked on over 800 European vehicles now. Every Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, Jaguar that rolls in gets the same attention - thorough diagnostics, no guesswork, no BS. Still learning something new every week, and honestly that's what keeps it interesting.
